Pacific Parrotlets
    The New World's Tiniest Parrot

Sometimes it's the smallest jewel that's the most valuable.  Pacific Parrotlets are a perfect example of that.  As the New World's tiniest  Parrot, the parrotlet is under 5 inches long and as full of the well known parrot personality as their larger relatives.
Ranging from the Pacific coasts of Peru and Ecuador The Native Green Bird has winged it's way into the hearts of Americans in many color mutations, such as blue, American Yellow, White and Albino, Turquoise, White Turquoise as well as other colors.   The voice of the Pacific Parrotlet is a series of chirps and peeps.    This makes these treasures the perfect apartment and home pet.  With a life span of more than 20 years, there is simply no pet like the  Parrotlet!!

We are devoted to rearing the healthiest, happiest and friendliest Parrotlets possible.  It is towards that goal, that we play with each baby and young bird -- Hold and talk with the young'uns many times each day.  We hand-rear babies from about 11 days old so that they grow up ready for their forever human relationship.

Parrotlets are full of love, personality, intelligence and a little spit-and-vinegar.  It's this spice that makes us love them so. With patience, you can train your Parrotlet to talk and do tricks.  Your new pet will love being with you and can entertain themselves and play with their toys while you are away.

LINEOLATED PARAKEETS
The World's Most Unusual and nicest Parrot

The Lineolated Parakeet was first imported into Europe as early as the 1970's, and found its way into the United States  at some point in the 1980's.  They are still rare in the United States therefore, are still rare and exclusive pets when an owner is fortunate enough to obtain one.  The "Linnie" as happy owners like to call this little 6 inch Parrot,
make extraordinary pets.  There is simply no two ways about it, the Lineolated Parakeet has one of the best personalities in the bird world.   It's personality is sweet and soft and comfortable.  With it's loping walk, it seems to waddle along and is just as happy to climb about the cage as fly.  The Linnie has a way of walking parallel, foot-over-foot.  They will often hang upside down from the top of their cage.  If they are kept in pairs -- the pair will hang from the top of the cage nuzzling and "talking" to each other just as comfortably as they would on a perch.  Most parrots stand up-right on the perch, feet clasping the perch.  The Linnie might sit, it's body elongated and held parallel to the bottom of the cage.    They love snuggling, preening and cooing with their mates and individual pets love to act the same way with their human friends -- You simply cannot find a better bird-friend.
Their voices are very quiet for the most part made up of little yodeling  sounds, clicks.  When excited they can emit loud twittering and have a piercing  "Call".  If they are near other Lineolateds, there will be answers to the call -- and if not, they will wait for you to answer.  However, for the most part, the voice is kept quiet, sweet and loving.   With a limited vocabulary, with patience you can teach some Linnies to talk and whistle and sing.  Their intelligence allows them to learn tricks to provide hours of companionship and fun.
In the wild, the Linnie is  seen in various shades of green, but as mutations have emerged, the Linnie colors have expanded with it's popularity.  Linnies come in colors such as Cobalt,  Green, Turquoise or Parblue, Cremino, Lutino, Slate, Silver.  As more and more birds are bred in this country, Dilutes of the various colors have developed offering even a wider range of colors.

We ship with the air lines so that your little bird wakes in the morning - and is in your arms before the day is over.  All of our Parrotlets are banded and health guaranteed.  In order for the generous health guarantee to be in effect, you will want to have your new baby Vet checked within the first three days of it's arrival.  If something happens to your new baby during that period and at our discretion, we will be happy to refund your purchase price or replace the bird on the presentation to us of a full necropsy report from your veternarian.
